Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components, subsystems, and assemblies.
- Own designs from concept development and prototyping through production release and sustaining.
- Perform design trade studies and support technical risk reduction.
- Apply DFMA principles and support manufacturing readiness and production ramp.
- Plan and execute verification and validation testing for assigned designs.
- Investigate test, manufacturing, and field issues; support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Provide guidance and informal mentorship to junior engineers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in a related mechanical engineering role.
- Proven ability to independently own and deliver mechanical subsystems or features.
- Strong experience with DFMA, manufacturing processes, and production support.
- Proficiency in mechanical analysis methods, including FEA and analytical calculations.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping, verification, and validation testing.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
