Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert on manufacturing processes for electromechanical components.
- Determine ideal manufacturing methods and process flows for new parts.
- Evaluate supplier manufacturing equipment and drive corrective actions.
- Own the end-to-end new product introduction lifecycle at suppliers.
- Lead root cause analysis for supplier quality escapes and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing intent is communicated.
- Conduct independent research to identify potential new suppliers.
Job Requirements
- Experience conducting supplier manufacturing process audits.
- Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, FMEA, control plans, and SPC.
- Experience in leading root cause and corrective action investigations.
- Familiarity with quality management system standards.
- Proficiency with metrology tools and GD&T interpretation.
- Ability to travel up to 30% for supplier visits.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline and 5+ years of hands-on experience.
