Responsibilities
- Support the mechanical engineering development of Applied Vehicles
- Contribute to the mechanical design of the external sensor suite and vehicle interiors
- Perform structural and thermal analysis of mechanical designs
- Own the design, analysis, and validation from component to fully integrated vehicle
- Design with a focus on scalability and manufacturability
- Work cross-functionally to align mechanical designs with organizational needs
- Execute tests on design hardware and produce detailed documentation
Job Requirements
- BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in hardware design and product shipping
- Experience in FEA/CAE
- Knowledge of hardware reliability and testing
- Familiarity with CAD software (Solidworks preferred)
- CNC, Machining, Metal Working, and Welding experience
- Experience with automotive repair and maintenance
