Responsibilities
- Perform timing sign-off and develop STA and sign-off flow.
- Own IP and block level timing constraints for custom timing requirements.
- Collaborate with RTL designers to understand design intent and clock structure.
- Work with CAD teams to develop timing flow.
- Interact with physical design teams to close and sign-off timing.
- Innovate timing constraints and flows to facilitate timing closure.
- Verify timing constraints and address any issues in timing analysis.
Job Requirements
- Proven knowledge of ASIC design timing closure flow and methodology.
- 2+ years of experience in writing ASIC timing constraints.
- Expertise in STA tools (e.g., Primetime) and knowledge of timing corners/modes.
- Hands-on experience in timing/SDC constraints generation.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Tcl and Perl.
- Familiarity with synthesis, DFT, and backend methodologies.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
