Responsibilities
- Propose, negotiate, and design EE solutions to meet functional and performance objectives.
- Design and schematic capture of digital and some analog electrical circuits and systems.
- Lead and review PCB layout.
- Build proof-of-concept and initial prototype hardware.
- Create and execute plans to validate designs for function and performance.
- Debug and support prototype designs.
- Manage interactions with Contract Manufacturers during system builds.
Job Requirements
- Electronics experience in processor peripheral interfaces (PCIe, USB, I2C, SPI, storage, high-speed serial interfaces, and power supply design).
- Strong knowledge of Signal and Power Integrity and PCB layout protocols.
- Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multi-meters.
- BS degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred experience with SOCs, microcontrollers, microprocessors (ARM), FPGAs, and camera electrical protocols.
- Ability to take designs from concept through manufacturing and testing.
- Experience in mechanical assembly for prototypes and validation of digital designs.
