Responsibilities
- Engage in creative problem solving and spatial reasoning for design challenges.
- Apply engineering fundamentals in design analysis.
- Conduct tolerance analysis and design for assembly/manufacturing.
- Communicate designs through detailed design reviews across functions.
- Drive failure analyses and design of experiments to develop solutions.
- Release drawings and manage revision controls.
- Travel up to 20% throughout the year.
Job Requirements
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with 3D CAD.
- 3 years of relevant industry experience preferred.
- Master’s degree, PhD, or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering is a plus.
- Skills in Design for Manufacturability and statistical tolerance analysis techniques.
- Strong communication skills for technical project updates.
- Demonstrated ability to meet product timelines and experience with high-volume manufacturing processes.
