Responsibilities
- Author SOPs, test plans, and specifications for noise and vibration testing.
- Quantify noises and facilitate user studies to establish thresholds.
- Educate multi-functional teams on standard methodologies and best practices.
- Analyze validation work to identify root causes of problems.
- Collaborate with partner facilities overseas.
- Conduct measurements in anechoic/hemi-anechoic chambers.
- Engage in creative problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- Experience in multiple types of engineering work.
- Knowledge of acoustics and vibration principles.
- Understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals related to vibration.
- Acoustic measurement skills.
- Ability to learn new coding languages and handle large datasets.
- Preferred experience in high-volume consumer electronics and low-noise measurements.
