Responsibilities
- Define best-in-class manufacturing processes to meet design requirements.
- Develop and document manufacturing processes and requirements.
- Collaborate with Global Supply Managers to establish supply chain needs.
- Provide leadership during product development and production ramp.
- Use data analysis to drive process decisions and improvements.
- Identify and qualify equipment manufacturers and suppliers.
- Lead process development in areas like CNC machining, surface finishing, and assembly.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of mechanical manufacturing experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent; MSME or MBA preferred.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (25%).
- Strong hands-on mechanical skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Experience in manufacturing environments for consumer electronics or similar products.
- Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new processes.
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and yield improvement methods.
