Responsibilities
- Drive the development of mechanical manufacturing processes across Apple's supply base.
- Define and document processes to meet specifications and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with Global Supply Managers to establish supply chain requirements.
- Provide leadership during product production ramp and resolve engineering issues.
- Utilize data analysis to inform process decisions and improvements.
- Identify and qualify equipment manufacturers and suppliers.
- Lead development in areas such as CNC machining, surface finishing, glass processing, assembly, and painting.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of mechanical manufacturing experience.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (25%).
- Preferred educational background in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
- Strong hands-on mechanical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with cosmetic parts and manufacturing environments in consumer electronics is a plus.
- Ability to self-start and quickly learn new processes.
