Responsibilities
- Collaborate with industrial designers and technology teams to define product vision.
- Explore multiple product form factors and develop new product architectures.
- Define kinematic behaviors for ergonomic optimization.
- Integrate mechanisms, sensors, and electromechanical components.
- Partner with manufacturing teams and vendors to optimize designs.
- Ensure design meets requirements through analysis, prototyping, and testing.
- Communicate design ideas effectively within a team environment.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field.
- Solid fundamentals in statics, strength of materials, and manufacturing.
- Willingness to travel internationally ~10-15% of the year.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Preferred: Experience in diverse relevant industries.
