Responsibilities
- Design transistor-level blocks for power management ICs including DC-DC converters.
- Conduct feasibility studies and carry designs through implementation, simulation, and production.
- Collaborate with mask design to create layout collaterals.
- Optimize power, area, and performance in power IC designs.
- Develop simulations to validate designs at the subcell and IP level.
- Define production and evaluation plans for post-silicon activities.
- Review test results and drive bug fixes based on bench measurements.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IC design for production.
- Proven experience with voltage regulator architecture and low-level circuits.
- Familiarity with buck, boost, LDOs, and other power-related components.
- Knowledge of device physics related to analog and power circuits.
- Experience with analog IC design CAD tools and analysis flows.
- Proficient in modeling circuits using tools like Matlab, VerilogA, or Python.
- Ability to validate designs on lab benches using various measurement tools.
