Responsibilities
- Designing and developing custom hardware/software systems for data collection.
- Integrating sensors, synchronization systems, and custom instrumentation.
- Debugging and resolving end-to-end issues across software, data collection operations, and backend integration.
- Partnering with hardware, software engineering, and operations teams to optimize system performance.
- Contributing to architecture decisions for data collection reliability.
- Translating current issues into prioritized improvement roadmaps.
- Evaluating sensor technologies and data architectures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or science fields and 3+ years of industry experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or similar.
- Experience debugging complex systems across hardware, software, and network layers.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with various teams.
- Experience with sensor integration/synchronization or custom instrumentation.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and data quality metrics.
