Responsibilities
- Identify and scope engineering workflow bottlenecks within Module Design or Plant Design.
- Design, prototype, and test an AI-enabled tool or automated workflow to address selected pain points.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure solutions fit engineering constraints.
- Build usable solutions for other engineers, including lightweight apps or scripts.
- Create thorough documentation and a handoff package for the developed solutions.
- Drive team adoption of solutions through walkthroughs and feedback collection.
- Participate in team discussions with a willingness to learn in a fast-moving hardware environment.
Job Requirements
- Outstanding writing and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and systems thinking abilities.
- Demonstrated experience with AI-assisted workflows or tools.
- Experience in mechanical design fundamentals, including CAD and engineering drawing interpretation.
- Problem-solving ability with a methodical approach to debugging.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- AI fluency and experimentation mindset.
