Responsibilities
- Own designs from concept generation to real-world use, including various systems.
- Develop and integrate hardware on unmanned air vehicles.
- Use first principles physics for decision-making.
- Lead design reviews and execute hardware test plans.
- Build prototypes and analyze failures.
- Support hardware demonstrations with customers.
- Travel to test sites as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design or engineering.
- Experience with CAD and scalable manufacturing methods.
- General knowledge of manufacturing processes for composites and metals.
- Background in first principles physics.
- Eligible for U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience and knowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques.
