Responsibilities
- Develop new Army vision systems with multi-spectral sensors.
- Conduct prototyping and evaluations while adhering to SWAP-C requirements.
- Design mechanical components considering ergonomics and human factors.
- Perform structural and thermal analysis for trade studies.
- Manage complex parts and assemblies using CAD software.
- Ensure compliance with military specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs for manufacturing.
Job Requirements
- BS, M.Eng, MS, or PhD in an engineering field.
- 1-6 years of Mechanical Engineering experience.
- Proficiency in CAD and ability to produce high-quality engineering drawings.
- Experience with traditional and additive manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of ergonomics and human factors in design.
- Understanding of thermal and environmental considerations on materials.
- Must be a U.S. person eligible for a U.S. Security Clearance.
