Responsibilities
- Develop a new Army vision system incorporating multi-spectral sensors.
- Conduct prototyping and evaluation efforts with autonomy.
- Ensure compliance with stringent SWAP-C requirements.
- Balance human factors and comfort with packaging needs.
- Perform detailed mechanical design for traditional and additive manufacturing.
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) for hardware performance evaluation.
- Design for ergonomics and human factors in wearable devices.
Job Requirements
- BS, M.Eng, MS, or PhD in an engineering field.
- 7+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience.
- Proficiency in CAD and high-quality engineering drawings.
- Experience with military specifications and qualification programs.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and environmental considerations.
- Ability to perform structural analysis and thermal evaluations.
- Must be a U.S. person eligible for U.S. Security Clearance.
