Responsibilities
- Independently perform trade studies and generate solutions for approval.
- Execute hardware procurement necessary for implementing solutions.
- Test and verify the effectiveness of solutions.
- Own a portion of the manufacturing value chain for specific products.
- Collaborate with technicians and engineers to build prototype hardware.
- Develop novel tooling solutions for fabrication and assembly.
- Write documentation required for successful large-scale manufacturing.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's in engineering, math, or a hard science.
- Must be a rising senior and returning to school post-internship.
- Genuine interest in manufacturing and eagerness to learn.
- U.S. Person status required for access to Controlled Unclassified Information.
- Ability to complete a 12-week in-person internship in Costa Mesa, CA.
- Preferred experience in manufacturing-related fields or personal hardware projects.
- Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing execution systems.
