Responsibilities
- Own a portion or all of the manufacturing value chain for specific products.
- Develop novel tooling solutions for fabrication and assembly of structural parts.
- Create process flows for large, complex assemblies.
- Write necessary documentation for manufacturing hardware at scale.
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers to establish repeatable processes for production.
- Work hands-on with technicians and engineers to build prototype hardware.
- Travel to suppliers for sourcing, production issue resolution, and quality procedure implementation.
Job Requirements
- Degree in a technical field (engineering, math, or hard science preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
- Ability to deliver electromechanical hardware in a resource-constrained environment.
- Demonstrated team leadership skills with examples.
- Experience in physically manufacturing hardware (machining, fabrication, etc.).
- Genuine interest in manufacturing and a willingness to learn.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information.
