Responsibilities
- Own a portion or all of the manufacturing value chain for specific products.
- Develop novel tooling solutions for the fabrication and assembly of structural parts.
- Create process flows for complex assemblies and subassemblies.
- Write documentation for manufacturing hardware at scale, including work instructions and quality plans.
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers to establish repeatable production processes.
- Build prototype hardware alongside technicians and other engineers.
- Travel to suppliers for sourcing and quality procedure implementation.
Job Requirements
- Degree in a technical field preferred (engineering, math, hard science).
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
- Proven ability to deliver electromechanical hardware in resource-constrained environments.
- Demonstrated team leadership skills with examples.
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing hardware (machining, fabrication, soldering, assembly).
- Genuine interest in manufacturing and eagerness to learn.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to access to U.S. export controlled information.
