Responsibilities
- Execute and support assigned tasks and project activities.
- Support engineering activities by building prototypes and preparing test units.
- Perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting functions using various instructions and drawings.
- Conduct repairs and reworks of PCBAs and cable harnesses during engineering tests.
- Procure and source electrical components under direction.
- Fabricate special test equipment and harnesses.
- Utilize standard test equipment for testing and validation.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience as an engineering technician in a prototype/engineering development lab.
- Ability to read and understand complex PCBA schematics and test procedures.
- Experience with building and troubleshooting prototype electro-mechanical hardware.
- Knowledge of electrical components and familiarity with basic hand tools.
- Basic understanding of electrical engineering concepts and test equipment.
- Associate degree in electronics/electrical assembly preferred.
- Willingness to work overtime and ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs unassisted.
