Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance, high-efficiency avionics solutions for air vehicle platforms.
- Create reliable on-board communication systems for high bandwidth data exchange.
- Architect, design, and build high-speed digital PCBAs.
- Communicate design requirements with external vendors and manage outsourcing decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally between software, firmware, and hardware teams.
- Develop hardware validation test plans for sub-system and full system products.
- Ensure scalable, mission-ready solutions that meet military performance and reliability demands.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in embedded hardware design or computer engineering.
- Experience in designing high-density PCB layouts.
- Understanding of thermal, mechanical, power, and performance trade-offs.
- Experience creating test plans and performing validation tests for complex hardware systems.
- Knowledge of high-speed interfaces and EMI/EMC mitigation.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
