Responsibilities
- Develop and improve manufacturing assembly processes for MEMS pressure sensors.
- Create MEMS assembly processes for production and engineering prototypes based on customer design requirements.
- Drive product yield improvement and optimize throughput using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Design and introduce improved tooling and equipment as necessary.
- Develop concepts for flexible assembly and test platforms within a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
- Work in a Class 1000 assembly room environment for approximately 10% of the time.
- Travel within the US and internationally as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field (or high school diploma/GED with 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing).
- Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in high-volume manufacturing.
- Experience with IC Packaging techniques, including wirebonding and die attach.
- Knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE), FMEA, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Experience with automotive or medical product development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to work in a clean room environment and meet safety requirements.
