Responsibilities
- Initiates and implements process improvement projects.
- Prepares layouts of plant facilities to optimize utilization and product flow.
- Implements lean principles and methods in production, including 5S.
- Recommends workspace layout changes to maximize efficient production.
- Organizes and leads cross-functional teams for production line improvement projects.
- Communicates project scopes and progress to stakeholders.
- Collaborates with engineering and operations to identify improvement opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Industrial Engineering.
- Proficiency with tools such as 5S and Value Stream Mapping.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma preferred.
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Strong project management skills and excellent communication skills.
