Responsibilities
- Assist in building test fixtures for current and new products.
- Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Participate in the development and testing of new manufacturing equipment and technologies.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations on project progress and findings.
Job Requirements
- Enrolled in an accredited engineering program, completed second year.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of mechanical systems and components used in manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
- Competencies in verbal & written communications, engineering, math & statistics.
