Responsibilities
- Design analog, digital, and microprocessor-based circuits according to specifications.
- Test and debug prototype circuits to ensure design compliance.
- Evaluate and select components and sources for projects.
- Prepare regulatory and customer-required documents such as reliability analyses and qualification plans.
- Modify existing designs for derivative product development and cost reduction.
- Approve design drawings and reports, ensuring successful product transition to full-scale production.
- Collaborate with program managers to meet developmental milestones and lead technical projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
- 1-3 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in PCB layout, verification testing, and documentation.
- Knowledge of digital and analog circuit design, especially for sensors and avionics.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as DO-160, DO-254, and DO-178 preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with electronic lab equipment.
- Proficiency with electronics design packages like Mentor Graphics or Altium Designer.
