Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues on transport category aircraft.
- Investigate aircraft/component problems and determine corrective actions.
- Provide engineering support for discrepancies affecting aircraft or components.
- Develop action plans for fleet/multi-fleet and component engineering projects.
- Coordinate with other departments to implement engineering dispositions effectively.
- Prepare engineering documents for repairs, modifications, and inspections.
- Maintain knowledge of regulations affecting engineering actions to ensure compliance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- 2-6 years of related experience in aircraft systems or engineering.
- Experience with Engineering Orders (EOs), Maintenance Evaluation Team (MET) Projects, and Engineering Authorizations (EAs).
- Knowledge of CFRs, maintenance programs, and relevant technical manuals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer programming.
- Strong analytical, technical writing, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and be self-motivated.
