Responsibilities
- Collaborate on end-to-end firmware flows and component integration.
- Design and develop platform BIOS based on silicon and board features.
- Participate in triage, debug, and validation processes across the product lifecycle.
- Write high-quality, scalable code in C and/or ASM for server platform BIOS solutions.
- Ensure customers can leverage EPYC designs and collaborate with SoC architects.
- Manage issues proactively and communicate risks effectively.
- Represent the firmware team in internal and external collaborations.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years experience in BIOS, firmware, or system software development.
- Strong knowledge of x86 system architecture.
- Excellent C programming skills; x86 assembly experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of server hardware interfaces (e.g., Ethernet, SATA, PCIe).
- Familiarity with server BIOS architecture and industry standards (e.g., ACPI, SMBIOS).
- Experience with AMI AptioV BIOS is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
