Responsibilities
- Develop supplier quality engagement strategies from product development through sustaining operations.
- Collaborate with Engineering to optimize product design through DFMEAs.
- Strategize and support supplier product qualification best practices.
- Review/approve qualification documents such as DFMEAs, PFMEAs, Control Plans, FAIs, etc.
- Conduct initial, surveillance, and for-cause supplier audits.
- Identify supplier-related failure trends and drive investigation, failure analysis, and remediation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to generate safe, high-quality, cost-effective products at scale.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in Supplier Quality related to electronics.
- Experience with high volume manufacturing & assembly engineering of complex products.
- 3+ years of experience performing internal and/or supplier audits.
- Proficient in ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements.
- Demonstrated experience with quality tools such as 8D, DOE, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC etc.
- Experience collaborating with the ECAD/physical board designer and able to review PCB designs.
