Responsibilities
- Manage product cost and negotiate with suppliers for cost reductions.
- Localize sourcing and qualifications of key BOM components to reduce logistics costs.
- Collaborate with logistics to create efficient material shipping options.
- Set program cost targets with engineering and supply chain teams.
- Track actual costs versus targets to identify corrective actions.
- Establish and execute operations strategies and plans.
- Lead cross-functional teams in readiness for high-volume product launches.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years in program or factory material and operations experience.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Mandarin or Spanish a plus).
- Knowledge of lean methodology and goal setting.
- Proven track record in implementing quality programs.
- Experience managing BOM costs and driving product cost reductions.
