Responsibilities
- Design and improve system controls architecture including machine control code and safety design.
- Develop controls code on Codesys platforms.
- Identify and implement system optimizations.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams for real-time implementations.
- Launch, test, and debug systems in both lab and field environments.
- Develop tools for system monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Partner with stakeholders across teams to iterate on system designs.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in developing motion control systems for robotics.
- BS/MS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar field.
- Experience with C++, CodeSys, and PLCs.
- Knowledge of IEC standards for programming controls for robotics.
- Familiarity with systems engineering fundamentals.
- Strong debugging skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
