Responsibilities
- Lead design verification and testing for the satellite electrical power system.
- Create verification cross-reference matrices for test coverage.
- Develop test plans and procedures based on power system design requirements.
- Define and develop necessary test systems and venues for verification goals.
- Drive system-level verification testing and support production test execution.
- Conduct test readiness reviews and verification/qualification test results reviews.
- Serve as a technical leader and mentor to other engineers, promoting best practices.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with prototyping and implementation.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools (preferred).
- Experience in designing complex mechanical products and equipment at volume (preferred).
- Ability to work with ambiguity and solve unprecedented problems.
