Responsibilities
- Design power electronics prototypes, including component selection, schematic capture, and layout.
- Own efficiency, mass, and cost models for power electronics designs.
- Investigate different topologies to optimize power electronics systems.
- Drive designs through PCBA manufacturing and assembly.
- Perform board bring-up, testing, and design verification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture and requirements.
- Propose and implement solutions to design issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of experience designing, testing, and debugging switching DCDC power supplies.
- 1+ years of hardware development experience across full product life cycles.
- Experience with measurement, troubleshooting, and debugging in a lab environment.
- Knowledge of converter stability and control feedback design.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and experience with high-current DCDC converter designs.
- Strong communication skills for cross-organizational collaboration.
