Responsibilities
- Work with an interdisciplinary team to execute product designs from concept to production.
- Intake robotic concepts and create kinematic concepts based on components.
- Conduct basic first-principles examination of loads and feasibility checks.
- Generate URDF files and drive dynamics evaluation using MATLAB.
- Collaborate directly with customers to align on requirements and communicate concepts.
- Design and adapt holistic hardware solutions for ambiguous problems.
- Work with cross-functional teams, vendors, and integrators to deliver automation solutions.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
- Strong understanding of robot dynamics and kinematics principles.
- Proficiency with CAD software, particularly SolidWorks.
- Deep knowledge of actuator hardware and strong MATLAB coding skills.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and prioritize work effectively.
- Excellent technical documentation and verbal communication skills.
