Responsibilities
- Execute product designs from concept to production, including specification, design, prototyping, validation, and testing.
- Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality organizations to ensure smooth product launch.
- Write functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures.
- Exhibit thorough engineering analysis and cradle-to-grave ownership.
- Design holistic hardware solutions for ambiguous problems with fluid requirements.
- Craft proof-of-concept models and prototypes.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly using visuals and simple language.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in robotics, mechanical/mechatronics engineering, systems engineering, or related field.
- Experience with prototyping, DFx, and CAD software like SolidWorks.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to support domestic and international travel as required.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys is preferred.
- Experience in robotic development and design of complex mechanical products.
