Responsibilities
- Lead the development of mechanical designs for ground support equipment (GSE) for satellite systems.
- Create and analyze 3D and 2D designs using Siemens NX.
- Collaborate with spacecraft design and integration teams.
- Design and conduct research programs for manufacturing processes.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes and provide decision-making information.
- Conduct design reviews and qualify production fixturing and tooling.
- Solve complex engineering problems with a high degree of autonomy.
Job Requirements
- BS degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in prototyping and implementation.
- Experience with NX, TeamCenter, DFM, and manufacturing process development.
- Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis.
- Experience with complex mechanical product design.
- Strong communication, time, and task management skills.
