Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, develop, and improve production processes (assembly, integration, test processes).
- Serve as the primary technical interface to the development team for an OISL Sub-assembly.
- Participate as the lead technical voice in Design Reviews and new product development activities.
- Support operations by solving key technical issues during production.
- Spend time on the shop floor collaborating with production teams.
- Perform independent development work to identify and implement production improvements.
- Collaborate on new design introductions and production process change management.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools (preferred).
- Experience designing small form factor devices (preferred).
- Ability to work under pressure and solve technical problems.
- Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with production development testing.
- Understanding of quality control measures in manufacturing processes.
