Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for production, test, and design teams during battery pack and PCBA testing and manufacturing.
- Implement new tests, processes, and tools for battery cell manufacturing and testing.
- Identify and improve quality, efficiency, and robustness of manufacturing processes.
- Develop standard repairs, rework procedures, and training for operators and technicians.
- Create reporting tools on manufacturing KPIs and coordinate with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Conduct root cause failure analyses in collaboration with quality and engineering experts.
- Manage 3rd party vendors for equipment installation and technician training.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in operations, design, or test roles within relevant industries.
- Familiarity with manufacturing, electrical testing, and industrial automation.
- Capability to perform physical activities related to testing and equipment handling.
- Experience in managing technical projects from inception to execution.
- Knowledge of battery electrochemistry and PCBA manufacturing.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools for continuous improvement.
