Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for production, test, and design teams during battery pack and PCBA testing and manufacturing.
- Implement new tests, processes, and tools for manufacturing, shipping, and testing battery cells.
- Identify and execute improvements for quality, efficiency, and robustness of processes.
- Develop standard repairs, rework procedures, and training for operators and technicians.
- Create reporting tools for manufacturing KPIs and lead integrated product teams.
- Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams for root cause failure analyses.
- Manage third-party vendors for equipment installation and quality maintenance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in operations, design, or test roles in relevant industries.
- Familiarity with manufacturing, electrical testing, operations, and industrial automation.
- Ability to support physical test activities and lift up to 25lbs unassisted.
- Experience with interdisciplinary teams in product design execution.
- Knowledge of battery electrochemistry and testing of Li-ion cells and packs.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical process control methods.
