Responsibilities
- Create and maintain shop work orders in Manufacturing Execution and ERP software.
- Interrogate CAD models and 2D technical drawings for manufacturing dimensions and requirements.
- Interface with purchasing and NC programming groups to prioritize and report load for the machine shop.
- Define and plan all manufacturing steps in ME software for aerospace detail parts.
- Update process steps for manufacturing tight tolerance, metallic aerospace parts.
- Communicate with purchasing to ensure compliance with manufacturing and scheduling requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on early hardware development and production processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics, or equivalent.
- 1+ year(s) working in aerospace or aviation metallic manufacturing processes.
- Experience communicating technical details verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Understanding of CNC machining and CMM inspection processes.
- Experience with SAP ME/ERP or equivalent software.
- Understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5-2009) and CAD experience (NX/Catia/Autocad).
