Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, develop, and improve production processes through collaboration with a team of manufacturing engineers.
- Serve as the primary technical interface to the development team, participating in Design Reviews and new product development activities.
- Support the operations team by solving technical issues and managing quality containments.
- Own the capacity increase roadmap for production, including capital equipment design and procurement.
- Work on the shop floor with production teams to implement new processes and solve technical blockers.
- Conduct independent development work to identify and implement production improvements.
- Mentor and coach team members to develop their skillsets and ensure alignment with technical vision.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of hardware design and validation experience.
- Familiarity with Low-Rate Manufacturing Environments & New Product Introduction.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices.
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis Techniques.
- Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for product design execution.
- Preferred knowledge of software/hardware/networks development life cycle and project management.
