Responsibilities
- Lead architectural and mechanical design of fulfillment center systems from concept to approval.
- Create detailed design specifications for automated material handling equipment and robotics solutions.
- Develop and validate engineering calculations to ensure operational requirements are met.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and serve as the primary technical contact for stakeholders.
- Drive design reviews to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support installation and commissioning of designs.
- Identify opportunities for design standardization and contribute to best practices development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in Design/Innovation Engineering or related fields.
- Experience with automated material handling equipment and robotics.
- Proficiency in technical software like CAD and MS Project.
- Ability to travel globally (20%).
- Master’s degree preferred, with experience in Lean Principles.
- Familiarity with system architecture and design-in-safety principles.
