Responsibilities
- Lead the Kuiper Supplier Quality team and oversee quality management systems.
- Manage quality assurance activities across PCBAs, machined parts, and custom semiconductors.
- Drive defect identification and reduction using Advanced Product Quality Planning tools.
- Move quality checks upstream to enhance process capability.
- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.
- Solve complex supply chain problems while coaching teams.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Sourcing, and Manufacturing teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing/Mechanical/Aerospace/Electrical) or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in high-reliability manufacturing or supply chain environments.
- 7+ years of experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 compliance.
- 7+ years leading APQP and Root Cause Analysis for hardware failures.
- 7+ years managing Quality/Manufacturing/Supply Chain/Operations teams.
- Knowledge of GD&T, ASME Y14.5, and inspection processes.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
