Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design and development of drone hardware components.
- Create mechanical designs for electric propulsion systems.
- Build prototype hardware and test systems for validation.
- Lead test planning and execution for hardware components.
- Develop test strategies and document procedures and results.
- Ensure hardware reliability and qualification testing.
- Utilize CAD software for design, drafting, and product lifecycle management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Experience in design and build of End-Of-Line test systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA / ENOVIA).
- Experience with hardware reliability and qualification testing.
- Preferred: Master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Preferred: Experience in electronics and/or aerospace hardware.
