Responsibilities
- Architecture and hardware design for Avionic compute and distributed system hardware.
- Design and test analog/digital devices such as navigation and communication hardware.
- Perform electrical analyses, circuit and RF simulation, and create electrical schematics and PCB layouts.
- Support engineering trades and interact with suppliers for critical components.
- Develop hardware from concept to mass production.
- Increase engineering rigor behind designs, verification, and documentation.
- Perform formal verification testing including DO-160 and DO-254.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in hardware development engineering.
- Experience in developing functional specifications and design verification plans.
- Preferred Master's degree in electrical or computer engineering.
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams for product design.
- Project management experience for technical projects.
- Strong background in electrical hardware and systems design.
