Responsibilities
- Partner with internal customers to understand technical requirements and pain points.
- Support the development of design solutions using advanced CAD tools.
- Lead stakeholder interviews and conduct product tear-downs for data gathering.
- Perform 3D scanning and reverse engineering activities.
- Create detailed technical documentation and work instructions for product deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of varying technical expertise.
- Apply Design for X principles based on customer and stakeholder requirements.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years hands-on experience with industrial mechanical CAD software (e.g., SOLIDWORKS, Creo).
- Proficiency with 3D scanning and reverse engineering tools.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including additive manufacturing and machining.
- 1+ year experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of completing design and support assignments with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
