Responsibilities
- Drive resolution for an intern project by analyzing data for process improvement recommendations.
- Assist in designing and improving order fulfillment infrastructure.
- Support the management and implementation of medium scope automation projects.
- Coordinate design and execution efforts between internal teams and vendors.
- Develop and manage budget and contract documents.
- Direct system commissioning and testing activities.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance and safety practices for equipment.
Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Industrial, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience with large-scale industrial engineering projects preferred.
- Familiarity with integrated automation solutions and material handling systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
- CAD skills for developing automation layouts.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing practices.
