Responsibilities
- Prepare 3D models and drawings using Catia V5 R21 to R32.
- Perform checking functions and coordinate designs with project and manufacturing engineers.
- Create complex and simple detail, sub-assembly, and top assembly drawings.
- Write engineering orders and make changes to existing drawings.
- Perform weight calculations and design checks of models and drawings.
- Create tooling models and drawings, and develop assembly BOMs.
- Aid shop, customers, and vendors in interpreting company and customer drawings.
Job Requirements
- Knowledgeable of Catia V5 and skilled in 3D modeling.
- Strong understanding of GD&T practices per ASME and ANSI standards.
- Manufacturing knowledge in machining metallic components and sheet metal forming.
- Familiarity with PLM software (Enovia) and configuration management practices (preferred).
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Greencard Holder).
- Preferred degree: BSME.
- 100% onsite work requirement.
