Responsibilities
- Perform 3D modeling, design annotations, and 2D deliverables.
- Model and store allocated volumes and interfaces for sub-systems and components.
- Conduct detailed design on internal subsystems.
- Verify the consistency of the digital mock-up and compliance with requirements.
- Prepare and document Train Design Design Reviews and support Project Design Gates.
- Update Digital Mock-Up to incorporate approved Change Requests.
- Check the quality of CADs and subcontractors' designs.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience or understanding of transportation-related mechanical engineering.
- Knowledge of 3D/2D CAD software (Solidworks, AutoCAD, Catia V5).
- Familiarity with MS Office tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Time management and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of digital mock-up processes and tools.
