Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems per MIL-STD-810 specifications.
- Perform mechanical simulations (FEA, modal, vibration, thermal).
- Collaborate with electrical and systems engineers for electromechanical integration.
- Lead structural integrity testing and analysis.
- Develop and document mechanical design specifications.
- Conduct testing and validation for performance and safety standards.
- Support prototype development and collaborate with manufacturing teams.
Job Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in mechanical design and electromechanical integration.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Hands-on experience with structural, vibration, and thermal simulations (ANSYS, SolidWorks preferred).
- Strong understanding of MIL-STD-810 requirements.
- Proficient in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Reliability (DFR) principles.
- Previous experience in robotics or autonomy is required.
