Responsibilities
- Design mechanical systems meeting MIL-STD-810 specifications.
- Perform mechanical simulations (FEA, modal, vibration, thermal).
- Collaborate with electrical and systems engineers on electromechanical integration.
- Lead structural integrity testing and analysis.
- Develop and document mechanical design specifications.
- Conduct testing and validation of mechanical designs.
- Support prototype development and collaborate with manufacturing teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in mechanical design and electromechanical integration.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Hands-on experience with structural, vibration, and thermal simulations.
- Strong understanding of MIL-STD-810 requirements.
- Experience conducting Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Reliability (DFR) principles.
