Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and test mechanical systems to meet customer requirements.
- Propose innovative solutions for complex mechanical systems.
- Fabricate, modify, and test robotic and automated assembly prototypes.
- Conduct experimental tests on automated assembly prototypes.
- Collaborate with Software, Electrical, and Systems Engineers.
- Troubleshoot technical problems reported by customers.
- Lead project tasks and ensure quality execution and results.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with a GED/Associates degree or 4+ years with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Hands-on experience with power tools and machine shop equipment.
- Proficiency in mechanical design tools like SolidWorks or CATIA.
- Experience with electric motors, gears, seals, and fasteners.
- Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis and modeling tools.
- Experience with pneumatics, linear guides, and position sensors.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (10%).
