Responsibilities
- Provide technical input on integrated solutions, network design, and field engineering projects.
- Perform installation, maintenance, validation, testing, and troubleshooting of system solutions in the field.
- Integrate new sensors and telemetry into existing systems.
- Modify existing systems to correct errors or improve performance.
- Design, develop, and modify systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models.
- Aid in the design and construction of custom configurations for unique site limitations.
- Communicate effectively with customers and ensure their needs and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Job Requirements
- Associate degree in physical/natural science, engineering, hydrology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-3 years of technical/field service experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and passion for data related to environmental monitoring.
- Ability to read, design, and produce electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of telemetry systems and sensor technology.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and hazardous environments.
