Responsibilities
- Develop CAD models for structural, thermal, and fluid analysis.
- Collaborate with an integrated performance team to evaluate spacecraft provider designs.
- Conduct independent analyses and provide insights for design refinements.
- Perform technical assessments of provider design analysis.
- Oversee the design, analysis, test, manufacturing, and operation of mechanical cargo systems.
- Prepare and manipulate CAD models for engineering analysis needs.
- Support stress analysis activities and coordinate with NASA and commercial partners.
Job Requirements
- BS degree in Engineering with 3-5 years of related experience.
- Significant experience with CAD tools like Siemens NX and SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with stress analysis methods and finite element analysis tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks independently.
- U.S. Citizenship and successful completion of a U.S. government background investigation.
- Desired experience includes hardware operations on space vehicles and knowledge of NASA standards.
