Responsibilities
- Review system architectures and hardware requirements for the Deep Space Logistic GN&C.
- Provide recommendations for improvements to designs and test plans.
- Ensure compliance with NASA requirements and support production/control board meetings.
- Track GN&C specific requirements verification and validation progress.
- Perform computer-based analysis for independent verification and validation of requirements.
- Evaluate technical options and provide guidance on trade-offs.
- Report on development progress and issues to senior NASA personnel.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in engineering or related discipline with 7 years of experience, or M.S. with 5 years.
- Experience with orbital dynamics modeling and simulation software.
- Development of GN&C algorithms and simulation software using MATLAB, Python, and C++.
- Knowledge of spacecraft guidance, navigation, and control systems.
- U.S. Citizenship and completion of a government background investigation.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment with various technical disciplines.
